The Empowered Workforce Readiness Program (EWRP) is a comprehensive workforce development initiative designed to equip youth and young adults with the skills, credentials, and real-world experiences needed to successfully transition into high-demand careers. The program bridges the gap between education and employment by combining career readiness training, industry-aligned skill development, and hands-on learning opportunities that prepare participants for sustainable economic success.
EWRP delivers structured programming that includes resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, job search strategies, and essential soft skills such as communication, time management, and problem-solving. Participants also engage in certification and technical training aligned with workforce needs, ensuring they gain both foundational and industry-relevant competencies. EES also supports Entrepreneurship for Underserved Groups, providing business development training, mentorship, and access to funding resources to help individuals launch and sustain income-generating ventures.
